Rachael & Chris are true Canberrans at heart. When they described their wedding day vision it was clear that they wanted a wedding that celebrated Canberra’s icons. Therefore, a National Gallery of Australia wedding was the perfect fit. They had an exceptional day as a result thanks to great venues paired with lots of stylish details. Rachael’s sequin wedding dress was such a knock-out!
Also apparent was Chris & Rachael’s support for each other. They go hand in hand, complimenting the other perfectly. It’s heartwarming being around love like this.
Rachel & Chris each spent the morning with their lovely families at the homes they grew up in. They then came together to wed under an epic floral arch by Wiluna Studio on the James Turrell Skyspace lawn for their National Gallery of Australia wedding. Following their ceremony, we had an awesome portrait session exploring the light and architecture of the NGA’s exterior. As one of our favourite buildings, we could easily go back there time and time again.
Chris & Rachael then headed off to party at their beautifully styled reception at Barton’s Chairman & Yip restaurant. and We can’t reiterate how much we love Canberra weddings, especially when they’re with amazing couples like Chris & Rachael.
